If you have a small or medium-sized enterprise in Greece or in any country of the European Union, the EUIPO gives you the opportunity to register your brand and your rights at a significantly reduced cost.

The programme is implemented by the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) and subsidises part of the official fees for:

• National trademarks


• European trademarks


• International registrations (under conditions)


• Industrial designs and models


• Patents


• Plant varieties

The subsidy applies exclusively to the official fees of the organisations and is refunded after the completion of the procedure.

Who can join?

The SME Fund is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises established in the European Union. Companies of every form are included, as well as the self-employed, provided that they have an active professional activity.

Medium-sized enterprise

• Fewer than 250 employees


• Annual turnover of up to 50 million euros
  or


• Total annual balance sheet of up to 43 million euros

Small enterprise

• Fewer than 50 employees


• Annual turnover of up to 10 million euros
  or


• Total annual balance sheet of up to 10 million euros

Micro enterprise

• Fewer than 10 employees


• Annual turnover of up to 2 million euros
  or


• Total annual balance sheet of up to 2 million euros
