Who We Are

Synapsee is a specialized business-consulting firm, focused on branding, identity strategy and the protection of distinctive signs. We do not operate as a law firm; we approach the trademark as an element of business and creative strategy, with a deep understanding of how a company’s name and image evolve into a brand.

For the legal aspects that require specialized handling, we work consistently with experienced lawyers, so that our clients receive comprehensive and reliable guidance at every stage. The preparation and filing of applications is always carried out by an authorized representative, whether for a Greek or a European trademark, in full compliance with the requirements of the competent authorities.

This approach stems from the wide range of business fields in which we operate and from viewing the brand from multiple perspectives. We have 11 years of experience in business consulting, the creation of business plans and marketing, 6 years of providing financial advice for co-funded European programs, as well as specialization in intellectual property rights over the last 5 years.

During the extensive review stage, we assess the registration strategy, the potential risks and the elements that can enhance the value of the trademark. We do not treat registration as a mere formality, but as an integral part of a company’s identity and overall strategy.

We cannot – and no one can – guarantee the outcome of an application, since the final decision rests exclusively with the official bodies and may be affected by objections from third parties. What we can guarantee is a methodical, transparent and thoroughly prepared process, with a clear picture of the real risks and possibilities before every step, and with respect not only for the trademark registration itself but for the brand’s overall strategy.

“Ultimately, managing a trademark is not only a legal act but also a marketing act. As it is aptly said: “Legal strategies for trademarks should align with brand strategies.” In other words, legal protection must serve the brand’s broader strategy – to shield it, not to alienate it from the public. Academic research combining legal and marketing knowledge (an emerging interdisciplinary field) emphasizes exactly this point.”
